Academy Programme for 2024
We introduced a Junior and Youth Academy programme, in 2023 designed to deliver high-quality training for skillful players residing in the Manurewa region. This includes areas such as Wiri, Manurewa East, Homai, Clendon, Hillpark, Randwick Park, The Gardens, Rata Vine, Torara Heights, Manukau Heights and the coastal suburbs of Weymouth and Wattle Downs.
The 2024 season will include teams ranging from 9th Grade to 14th Grade, with plans to expand this range in subsequent years, creating a comprehensive Player Pathway from 9th to 17th Grade leading up to the First Team.
Team formations take into account player potential, skill, dedication, and enthusiasm for increased training and participation, aiming to compete at the highest divisions sanctioned by NRF.
Manurewa AFC Junior: U9-U12 Mixed
Players following the Junior pathway must be able to commit to two training sessions a week
Manurewa AFC Youth: U13 & U14 Mixed
Players following the Youth pathway must be able to commit to three sessions a week.
Team Formation Day
To be considered for a Junior/Youth Academy team register at manurewaafc.org.nz and attend the team formation day.
Please select your current age, teams will be based on age/ability once players are selected following these sessions.

Fees: 2024
If selected to represent a Manurewa AFC Junior or Youth Academy team this season, the cost is:

$530 per player (includes club fee of $130) |

11th and 12th Grade |
$545 per player (includes club fee of $145) |

13th and 14th Grade |
$750 per player (includes club fee of $150) |
Payment must be made by May 1st and covers all training sessions in Terms 2 and 3 and the Club Winter registration fee. Please note that these fees do not cover training gear and tournament costs.
Our policy strictly adheres to "no payment, no play."
