Academy Programme for 2025
The Academy serves as a vital stepping stone into the Manurewa AFC players pathway for the 2025 season, offering a clear progression for aspiring footballers. Specifically targeting players in the Skill Acquisition Phase (U9 to U17 Grade +), the Academy provides a structured environment designed to nurture talent and unlock potential.
Through a carefully crafted program, players will develop essential technical skills, tactical awareness, and mental resilience, building their confidence to excel at the next level.
Our focus is not only on individual skill development but also on fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and a deep understanding of the game.
With experienced coaches and a commitment to holistic player development, the Academy offers a unique opportunity for young footballers to enhance their abilities and take decisive steps in their football journey, bridging the gap between grassroots and advanced competitive play.
The Academy welcomes all players eager to enhance their football skills. It offers a unique chance to experience Manurewa AFC and benefit from a tried and tested football development approach that may be new to them.
Participation is open to both Manurewa AFC members and non-members.
Manurewa AFC Junior: U9-U12 Mixed
Players following the Junior pathway must be able to commit to two training sessions a week and any tournaments the club books the team in for (usually held on Sundays).
Manurewa AFC Youth: U13-U17 Mixed
Players following the Youth pathway must be able to commit to three sessions a week and participate in any tournaments the club books the team in for.
Fees: 2025
If selected for an Academy team the winter season the cost is:

$677 per player + club registration fee of $175.00 |

13th Grade |
$769 per player + club registration fee of $175.00 |

14-17th Grade |
TBA + club registration fee of $175.00 |
Payment must be made by May 1st and covers all training sessions in Terms 2 and 3 and the Club Winter registration fee.
Please note that these fees do not cover training gear and tournament costs.
Our policy strictly adheres to "no payment, no play."

Training nights:

| 13th to 15th Grade | Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays 6pm till 7.15pm |
| 17th Grade | Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays 7pm till 8.30pm. |
